IRBY WIN OVER 40s PLAY-OFF FINAL

Congratulations to Andy Hurworth and his Over 40's team who won the Over 40's Trophy at Upton on Bank Holiday Monday beating Poynyton in the semi-Final and Upton in the Final. More details towards the end of the 1st Team Weekly CCCL report.

Club 60th Anniversary Limited Overs Competition

Junior and Senior Players wanted for Inter-Club Limited Overs Competition

Sunday 7th September at the Club

11.00 Start

Lunch Provided

Four teams consisting of a mixture of Junior and Senior players  will take part in a two 12 over semi-final matches starting at 11.00, with a final and third place play-off games taking place after lunch.

Junior or Senior players (or umpires) interested in taking part in this fun competition should either let one of the four senior captains know on Saturday 30th August or contact Nigel Burrows on 07980 723653 or email nigel.burrows2@btinternet.com. Junior players are particularly welcome to play.

The four teams will be chosen at the Selection meeting on 1st September

Play cricket at Irby

If you fancy a game this season we are looking for players of all abilities to join Irby CC.  Fielding four teams on a Saturday we can offer cricket to those of all abilities.

We've even got an Over 40's midweek team this year competing in the CCCL Over 40's league so feel free to come out of retirement for some fun midweek cricket (before you know it you'll be playing on a Saturday too!)
